Shane Slominski director
Experience
Shane joined Tonka Bay in 2006. He previously was a manager at Deloitte & Touche, where he assisted many clients of various sizes with financial statement audits, SEC filings, equity and debt offerings, and acquisition due diligence projects. He began his career with Arthur Andersen's audit practice.
Education
Shane graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a minor in Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Interests
Shane is family-focused and deeply committed to Friends of FANA, Minnesota, the organization that united his family with their son in 2008. He serves on the board of Friends of FANA, which helps provide critically needed resources to the Fundación para la Asistencia de la Niñez Abandonada (FANA) orphanage in Bogotá, Colombia.
With two young children, Shane has minimal spare time to enjoy his other passion in life - golf of course. He hits the links whenever he can sneak away and is an avid sports fan. Shane's other joys in life include spending time with his wife and children outdoors, biking, hiking, and traveling, and being an active member of his church.
