Investment Profile

Tonka Bay Equity Partners invests $4 million to $10 million in growth-oriented companies for management buyouts, for shareholder liquidity, to complete acquisitions, and to support growth and expansion. 

We provide multiple forms of junior capital including common stock, preferred stock, and subordinated debt.  Our investment may represent a control or a non-control position in a portfolio company.

We seek to acquire and invest in companies with the following characteristics:

• Manufacturing, business services, and value-added distribution companies
• Provide a niche or proprietary product or service
• Proven management with a meaningful ownership stake in their business
• EBITDA greater than $2 million
• A viable growth strategy 

We invest in established, profitable companies and do not consider start-up or turnaround situations.  We do not invest in financial institutions, real estate, restaurants or retail.
