Investment Criteria

Tonka Bay acquires and invests in growth-oriented companies to support management buyouts, shareholder liquidity events, recapitalizations, and growth and expansion. We focus on growing highly-engineered manufacturing, value-added distribution and business services companies with EBITDA (operating cash flow) greater than $2 million. We seek businesses that serve a specific niche where we can help management teams develop game-changing opportunities.

Tonka Bay invests in established, profitable companies and does not consider startup or turnaround situations. We also do not invest in financial institutions, real estate companies, restaurants or retailers.
